When I was younger, I would bite my nails and cuticles all the time. I didn’t have long nails like I do now. I didn’t even really take care of my nails until I went to nail tech school and started my YouTube channel. Then I realized, hmm.. I should probably try to get them healthier! For this post, I’ll be sharing some tips and tricks to help you stop biting your nails..
First, you should try to see what triggers your nail biting. The most common triggers are stress and anxiety and just being bored. Try chewing a piece of gum or putting a hair band around your wrist to fiddle with instead of biting your nails.
You should also make sure you have a weekly nail care routine to prevent hang nails, since you can start biting your nails due to a hang nail.
Try to replace the bad nail biting habit, with a good habit like painting or filing your nails. Having a nice manicure can help stop the nail biting habit since you don’t want to ruin your freshly painted nails.
Another great tip is to make your nails taste bad. Magique’s No Bite Treatment is unique due to it’s patent pending tailored bitterness capability. The standard bitterness works for more people, but it does come with extra bitters. Breaking the habit is almost guaranteed with this product, since you can customized how bitter you need it to be for the right discouraging taste.
This product is safe or non-toxic and can with used over nail polish or alone. It’s the perfect solution to kids thumb sucking and all ages of biting problems. This product helps prevent long lasting damage to the nails and nail beds caused by biting and it helps prevent the spread of germs and viruses caused by placing your fingers in your mouth, and nail infections.
To finish off my nail care routine so that my nails stay healthy, I’ve been using Magique’s Vitale Pen which heals cracked nails, rigid cuticles and hang nails, which is important, because like I said earlier, you can start biting your nails due to a hang nail. Their forumla is packed with vitamin A & E to strengthen your nails, and it’s great that is comes in a click pen so you can take it with you wherever you go.
