Tortoise Shell Nail Art Tutorial without Gel

Tortoise Shell Nail Art Tutorial without Gel

Tortoise shell nails are all the rage lately, and I think these are the perfect addition for fall! Typically, you see these made using gel, since it allows you to easily create multiple layers to get the tortoise look. But, today I’ll be showing you how to do it with regular polish. Let’s check it out!

Here are the products I used:

Maxus Nails – Base Coat (get 15% off with HANNAH15)

Nails Inc – Lacquer Lock Top Coat

Sally Hansen – Yummy Yam (discontinued). Alternatives:
China Glaze – Mustard the Courage
Cirque Colors – Tortoise Kit

Ten Over Ten – Cliff

China Glaze – Liquid Leather

LVX – Mink (get 15% off with HANNAH)

Beauty Secrets – Nail Polish Thinner

Watch my video tutorial below for all the details on how to recreate this look!

What do you think of this trend and will you be trying it yourself? If so, be sure to tag me in your nail art photos!
